Olympiacos will host PAOK Thessaloniki at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus for a marquee Round 10 fixture of the Greek Super League. Entering the match, Olympiacos sits in second place in the league standings with 23 points, while PAOK occupies the fourth position with 19 points.

Imanol Alguacil's Olympiacos squad enters this weekend meeting in strong domestic form. The Piraeus club comes into the game looking to extend an impressive league winning streak to six matches, bolstered by recent victories over Kifisia and Kalamata. Their schedule has also included continental competition, coming off a scoreless draw against Rennes in the UEFA Europa League.

On the visiting side, PAOK manager Alessio Lisci leads a team aiming to make a major statement about their championship aspirations. Although their recent form has featured mixed results—including a defeat to OFI Crete followed by a bounce-back win over Asteras Tripolis—a victory in Piraeus would allow the Thessaloniki outfit to solidify their standing near the top of the table.

The historical head-to-head record highlights how closely contested matches between these two clubs typically are. Their previous five encounters have yielded a variety of outcomes without either side establishing clear dominance. Last season's meetings included a 1-1 draw at Karaiskakis Stadium, as well as a 3-1 victory for PAOK and another 0-0 stalemate.

Both managers have announced their starting formations for the showdown. Olympiacos will deploy a 4-2-3-1 tactical setup featuring Stefan Ortega in goal, alongside outfield players Manolis Saliakas, Panagiotis Retsos, Lorenzo Pirola, Nair Tiknizyan, Santiago Hezze, Remo Freuler, Jota Silva, Chiquinho, Joel Roca, and Marius Mouandilmadji.

PAOK will counter with a 4-4-2 formation under Lisci. The starting lineup includes Dimitrios Monastirlis as goalkeeper, supported by defenders and midfielders Aritz Elustondo, Pantelis Hatzidiakos, Diego Costa, Dimitrios Giannoulis, Andrija Zivkovic, Christos Zafeiris, Baptiste Santamaria, Kristijan Jakic, Simon Banza, and Cherif Ndiaye.

The match officials assigned to oversee the encounter include referee José María Sánchez Martínez, assisted by Raúl Cabañero Martínez and Juan José López Mir, with Christos Vergetis serving as the fourth official. Alejandro Muñiz Ruiz will manage video assistant referee duties alongside assistant VAR Rubén Ávalos Barrera.

League leaders Panathinaikos will be monitoring the outcome from afar as they prepare for their own fixture against Iraklis. With multiple contenders tightly clustered near the summit of the Greek Super League, the Karaiskakis Stadium derby carries significant implications for the unfolding championship race.
