Comedian and actress Miranda Hart became the fifth star to be eliminated from Celebrity Traitors after being murdered by the game's secret traitors. Her departure from Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands marked the end of a popular run on the BBC reality competition.

Upon learning of her murder, Hart reacted with characteristic humor, jokingly dismissing the news before turning emotional. She explained that participating in the program served as a major personal and professional milestone following years away from the spotlight due to health struggles.

Hart has previously spoken openly about her battles with long-term illness, linking her chronic fatigue to a diagnosis of Lyme disease and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also known as ME. The condition previously left her bed-bound and housebound for an extended period, making demanding work schedules impossible.

Reflecting on her time on the show, Hart described the experience as deeply meaningful after enduring years of physical restriction. She shared that being able to wander the Scottish Highlands, connect with nature, and laugh with fellow contestants felt like something she once feared might never happen again.

Fellow contestant Joanne McNally praised Hart's strong presence on the show, describing her as a maternal figure among the cast. Meanwhile, traitor James Acaster admitted that Hart was targeted because she posed a threat as a sharp investigator who could have easily uncovered the identities of the secret traitors.

The intense reality series continues to captivate audiences, with recent episodes drawing massive viewership numbers across the United Kingdom. While the remaining faithful contestants continue to struggle with correctly identifying the hidden traitors, Hart expressed profound satisfaction in simply regaining her health and fitness enough to step back in front of the cameras.
