U2 is preparing for a major international tour in 2027, titled The Greatest Show On Earth, with the band recently announcing additional concert dates in Europe to accommodate strong public interest. The tour, which supports their upcoming 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz, will feature performances across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Latin America. The band has added a third show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as well as extra dates at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam and the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

The tour is scheduled to begin in Stockholm on April 26, 2027, with the European leg continuing through July. The band will be joined by special guests Wolf Alice for the UK and European dates, while Beck will provide support for the Latin American portion of the tour. The band’s return to the UK marks their first full headline performances in the country in nearly nine years and their first stadium shows there in a decade.

In addition to the concert announcements, U2 is collaborating with Guinness to release a limited-edition pearl white marble vinyl version of their new album. This special release, which includes a 16-page booklet and a collectors art print by Bono, is part of the band's 50th-anniversary celebrations. A portion of the proceeds from these sales will be donated to the Guinness Dublin 8 Community Fund to support local initiatives.

Ticket access for the tour is structured through several pre-sale phases. Paid U2.com subscribers have been granted early access, with priority determined by their subscription status. The Feedback Group, consisting of long-term subscribers, received access on November 2, followed by the Hype Group on November 3. Visa cardholders in the UK and EU were also provided with a dedicated pre-sale window, followed by an artist pre-sale and a general public sale.

The Edge, the band's guitarist, has expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, noting that the band plans to conclude the international run with a special celebration in their home country of Ireland. While the band has not yet provided specific details regarding the final leg of the tour, they have emphasized that the album and the tour are intended to serve as a communal experience for their fans during challenging times.

As the release date for Carnaval De Luz approaches on November 13, the band has already shared three singles from the record: 'Street of Dreams,' 'Silencio,' and the title track, 'The Greatest Show On Earth.' The album, produced by Jacknife Lee, features collaborations with various artists and explores themes of friendship, spirituality, and endurance. Before embarking on the full tour, U2 is also scheduled to perform during the halftime show of the NFL’s Thanksgiving Eve game on November 25.
