The TCU Horned Frogs hosted the Kansas Jayhawks at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, securing a hard-fought 22-16 victory. Both teams entered the matchup looking to salvage their seasons after struggling through the opening weeks of the college football schedule.

Kansas jumped out to an early advantage, building a 13-0 lead by halftime behind quarterback Cole Ballard, who earned the start in place of the injured Isaiah Marshall. Ballard finished the afternoon completing 20 of 35 passes for 285 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Despite falling behind early, the Horned Frogs mounted a comeback in the second half. TCU dominated the third quarter by scoring 14 unanswered points to claim the lead, and added another eight points in the final frame to seal the game.

Quarterback Jaden Craig led the TCU offense as a dual-threat playmaker. Although he completed 13 of 29 passes for 141 yards, Craig made a decisive impact on the ground by rushing for 87 yards on 15 carries, including a crucial touchdown late in the fourth quarter that extended the lead to 20-16.

The victory provides a much-needed morale boost for TCU head coach Sonny Dykes, whose squad improved its conference standing in the middle of the Big 12 pack. Meanwhile, the Jayhawks fell short in their effort to equalize their overall record, leaving both programs to refocus as the season winds down.

Historically, the matchup heavily favored the Horned Frogs, who extended their recent dominance in the series. TCU continues to rely on a stout defensive unit that has consistently kept opponents from running away with the score, giving the team a competitive edge in tight contests.
