The TBS Friday night drama series LOST10 has returned with a thrilling second episode that has left viewers stunned and searching for answers. Starring Ren Meguro as Hokkaido police detective Komoma, the show centers around the harrowing aftermath of a disaster known as the Shikaradake Incident, a survival accident that took place against the breathtaking backdrop of Hokkaido's wilderness.

During the second episode, investigations led by character Naoki, played by Shun Oguri, uncovered that every participant in the doomed mountain tour carried a mountain insurance policy. Investigators revealed that the maximum total payout of 20 million yen listed Aya, a middle school teacher portrayed by Anne Nakamura who was rescued by Komoma, as the sole beneficiary. This unexpected development quickly transformed the survival mystery into an apparent insurance murder investigation.

As suspicion intensified around Aya and her alleged co-conspirator Harune, played by Yuki Saito, detective Komoma maintained his belief in Aya's innocence. Komoma attempted to interview tour guide Tabata, played by Marie Iitoyo, after she regained consciousness. However, Tabata provided testimony that placed Aya in an even deeper predicament.

The episode reached a shocking conclusion when Tabata leaped from a rooftop right in front of Komoma, adding a tragic and confounding twist to the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, police shifted their focus increasingly toward Aya after discovering her fingerprints on a water bottle belonging to another deceased tour participant, Nikaido, played by Noboru Kaneko. Viewers took to social media to express their confusion and shock at the rapid escalation of events.

Behind the scenes, actress Anne Nakamura recently discussed her preparation for the complex role of Aya. In interviews, she noted the collaborative efforts of director Ayuko Tsukahara and producer Junko Arai, both of whom previously worked on acclaimed projects. Nakamura highlighted the intense experience of filming on location in Hokkaido and capturing the psychological strain of survival.

In conjunction with the broadcast, the official theme song for the drama, titled "LOST," has been released digitally by 18-year-old New York-based artist Maya. The track, described as a dark and mysterious piece reflecting the inner conflicts and struggles of modern life, serves as a haunting backdrop for the unfolding suspense. A music video featuring moody lighting and dramatic camera work is scheduled for release soon.

As LOST10 continues its weekly broadcast schedule, the complex web of secrets, shifting character loyalties, and mounting tragedies ensures that audience speculation will remain high. With investigators closing in on multiple fronts and key witnesses gone, the path forward in the Shikaradake case remains entirely unpredictable.
