Television personality and singer Patrick Sébastien announced he is selling his 450-square-meter house in Boulogne-Billancourt, near Paris, to fund the opening of his new cabaret. The former host, best known for fronting the popular program "Le Plus Grand Cabaret du monde" on France 2 for over twenty years, is preparing to permanently leave the French capital.

The venue, named "Chez Patoche," is scheduled to open on November 19 in La-Chapelle-aux-Brocs, located in the Corrèze department. Sébastien explained in an interview with Gala magazine that his main residence will officially move to Martel in the Lot department, where he has owned a property for fifty years and which sits roughly thirty kilometers from his future establishment.

"For now, my main residence is still in the Paris region, but I am selling my house in Boulogne-Billancourt to finance my cabaret," Sébastien stated in the interview. He added that he rarely plans to return to Paris, noting, "I came back up for four days for the promotion, but I will practically not return anymore. When that is the case, I will go to a hotel."

The house he is parting with in Boulogne-Billancourt was previously targeted in two burglaries, which occurred in 2019 and 2023. Meanwhile, the artist is shifting his complete focus to the new venture, promising to be on stage from the beginning to the end of each show.

The entertainment at the new venue will feature a modest setup compared to his past television productions due to space and budget constraints. The lineup includes transformists, four dancers—two of whom will also perform transformism—alongside a male and a female singer performing impersonations of icons such as Michael Jackson, Mylène Farmer, and Céline Dion.

The artist plans to run the review in Corrèze until May 31 before taking the show on the road during the summer months, with the cabaret continuing to host other evening events. Performances are scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, Sunday afternoons, and potentially Thursdays for large groups.

In recent months, Sébastien has also found himself at the center of controversies and legal challenges. He faces an investigation for sexual exhibitionism following a concert held in July 2025 at a naturist campsite in Cap d'Agde. Additionally, Delphine Ernotte, the president of France Télévisions—the group that ousted the animator in 2019—filed a complaint against him for sexist and sexual outrage following remarks in his latest album.
