Television viewers tuning into France 2 were treated to an all-female lineup for the ongoing 2026 masters of the popular musical game show broadcast at 6:40 PM. The evening featured two closely contested matches that kept audiences on the edge of their seats.

In the first matchup, Jennifer emerged victorious against Natasha, scoring 119 points to 108. Jennifer subsequently secured a 1,000 euro prize, bringing her total earnings to 2,000 euros since the beginning of the masters tournament and lifting her to ninth place in the standings with six points.

The second encounter proved equally tight, with Miss Carotte defeating Alexandra by the exact same score of 119 points to 108. Despite the loss, Alexandra celebrated her first victory of the tournament and claimed a substantial cash prize of 20,000 euros, advancing to the 23rd position in the rankings with her first three points.

Prime-time programming offered a diverse array of viewing options across various channels. TF1 broadcasted the fantasy film "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" at 21:10, following the Spengler family as they relocate to New York City to join the original ghost-hunting team at a specialized research laboratory and confront an ancient, imprisoned demon.

Meanwhile, M6 offered viewers the game show "Wanted" at 21:10. The program features public figures Michou, Issa Doumbia, and Adil Rami tracking down fugitive celebrities who must navigate without money, phones, or familiar bearings, while home viewers can participate by aiding either the pursuers or the fugitives.

France 2 shifted its prime-time focus to current affairs with its magazine program "Envoyé spécial" at 21:10, featuring a rare look inside the French Navy's strategic nuclear submarines. The broadcast presented a report following five days spent submerged in the Atlantic Ocean with the crews responsible for maintaining nuclear deterrence.

Rounding out the evening selections, Arte aired the premiere of the mini-series "Un jour on fera l'amour" at 20:55. Set in Tours during a heavy heatwave, the comedy-drama follows Aurore, who crosses paths with Noé in a bar following a painful breakup and a family loss, in a series that previously won the best comedy series award at the 2026 La Rochelle Fiction Festival.
