Pakistan triumphed over Oman by 18 runs to claim the Plate Division title during an action-packed conclusion to the Hong Kong Sixes tournament. Displaying powerful batting performances, Pakistan set a daunting target after Oman won the toss and elected to field first.

Opening the innings for Pakistan, captain Abbas Afridi led from the front after an early breakthrough by Oman's Muzahir Raza, who removed Khawaja Nafay for seven runs. Refusing to let the early setback shift the momentum, Afridi dominated the crease and hammered five sixes in the second over alone.

Providing crucial support to his captain, Abdul Samad played a quickfire knock, smashing 32 runs from just seven deliveries, which included two fours and four sixes. Samad's explosive batting helped maintain the high scoring rate during the middle phase of the innings.

Abbas Afridi continued his onslaught to bring up another half-century of the tournament in only 13 balls. He concluded his impressive innings with 73 runs from 16 deliveries, hitting a boundary and 11 sixes. Daniyal further contributed with a quick 25 runs from five balls, featuring four maximums.

In total, Pakistan posted a massive first-innings score of 154 runs, hitting an incredible 22 sixes throughout the innings. Defending a target of 155, Pakistan faced a fierce response from Oman from the very first ball.

Oman openers Zohaib Amanat and Usman Afridi both played sensational, unbeaten innings in a valiant chase. Zohaib scored 61 runs from 18 balls, while Usman added 67 runs from 17 deliveries.

Despite the remarkable batting display from Oman's opening pair, the team ultimately fell short of the massive target, managing 136 runs in their allotted six overs. Pakistan secured the 18-run victory in a thrilling run fest to capture the Plate Division trophy.
