Hunziker and Ramazzotti were married from 1998 until their separation, welcoming their daughter, Aurora Ramazzotti, during their relationship. Although their marriage concluded years ago, Hunziker shared an unexpected detail regarding her feelings during that era, admitting that she remained in love with Ramazzotti at least until 2010, shortly before she met Tomaso Trussardi, the father of her younger daughters Sole and Celeste.

She emphasized that safety, tranquility, and mutual well-being are her top priorities in a relationship, establishing a firm personal rule to avoid emotional distress.
