Indian cricket players have secured notable gains across the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's Player Rankings following commanding performances in their ongoing home series against Zimbabwe in Vadodara and Raipur. India established an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ICC Women's Championship ODI series with victories by margins of nine wickets and 121 runs.
Among the standout performers, all-rounder Deepti Sharma delivered exceptional displays with both bat and ball. Sharma grabbed five wickets across the first two matches and scored an 86-ball 106 in the second game, lifting her four slots to 23rd in the batting rankings. She also advanced one position to eighth among ODI bowlers and climbed two places to fourth in the all-rounders category.
Former captain Harmanpreet Kaur also capitalized on the series, smashing 126 runs from 121 balls in the second match to move up two places to eighth among ODI batters. Meanwhile, Pratika Rawal achieved a career-best 21st place in the ODI batting rankings after hitting her third ODI century with 100 runs off 96 balls in the first match, followed by 61 runs in the second fixture.
At the summit of the ODI batting leaderboard, South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt reclaimed the number one position. India captain Smriti Mandhana slipped one spot to second after recording scores of 32 and zero in the opening games against Zimbabwe, allowing Wolvaardt to secure the top ranking for the first time since November 2025.
Zimbabwean players also earned recognition following notable individual contributions during the series. Modester Mupachikwa climbed five slots to a career-best 39th place, Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano advanced to 47th, and Beloved Biza jumped 16 spots to a career-best 56th in the batting standings.
In the T20I bowling rankings, Indian spinners and fast bowlers maintained strong representation. Shree Charani and Deepti Sharma held the top two positions, while fast bowlers Nandani Sharma and Kranti Gaud made significant climbs. Nandani surged 26 places to 45th following her three-wicket haul, and Kranti rose to 43rd.
The updates captured broader international movement, including changes from the trans-Tasman series between Australia and New Zealand. Australian all-rounder Ash Gardner rose nine places to 19th in T20I batting following a quick-fire 84, while teammates Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth advanced in the bowling standings. New Zealand's Bree Illing and Nensi Patel also improved their bowling positions, while Australian veteran Megan Schutt and Ellyse Perry made gains in the ODI rankings following matches against Bangladesh.
