Zendaya stunned fans on social media by stepping out in an authentic vintage Lanvin ensemble originally worn by Halle Berry at the turn of the millennium. Styled by her longtime fashion architect Law Roach, the tribute meticulously recreated Berry's bold look from the July 2000 New York premiere of X-Men.

The archival Fall 2000 ready-to-wear outfit featured a delicate triangle string bikini top paired with ultra low-rise, wide-leg trousers in shades of yellow, brown, and white. Rather than opting for a modern reproduction, Roach sourced the genuine runway garments from private archives to ensure absolute historical accuracy for the seasonal celebration.

To complete the look, Zendaya matched the original ensemble down to the finest detail, wearing pointed-toe pumps and frameless, tinted sunglasses. The visual parallel was further amplified by her short, textured pixie cut, which served as an intentional nod to Berry's trademark early-career aesthetic.

The recreation quickly went viral across social platforms, ultimately catching the attention of Berry herself. The veteran actress publicly endorsed the nostalgic callback by posting a flurry of heart emojis and sharing side-by-side comparison photographs on Instagram.

This latest fashion homage builds upon a growing connection between the two performers. Earlier in the autumn during the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, Zendaya paid direct tribute to Berry's 2002 premiere look for Die Another Day, prompting Berry to enthusiastically praise her on social media.

Berry previously expressed admiration for Zendaya and reiterated her long-standing wish to collaborate on the silver screen, playfully remarking that she would love to play the younger actress's mother. By bringing historic red carpet moments back into the spotlight, the styling duo continues to celebrate trailblazing Black women in entertainment through high-fashion storytelling.
