Yash Raj Films revealed on Monday that the upcoming romantic action-drama starring "Saiyaara" breakout actor Ahaan Panday and Sharvari will be officially titled "Beparwah". The title announcement comes exactly five months before the movie opens globally in theaters on March 26, 2027, coinciding with the Good Friday holiday.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the project marks the first time Panday and Sharvari have shared the screen together. Until the recent announcement, the film had been known publicly only as director Ali Abbas Zafar's untitled next venture. Yash Raj Films initially set the March 2027 release date in July while principal photography was underway in the United Kingdom, where a significant portion of the film was shot.

The new feature reunites director Zafar with producer Chopra for the fifth time in their careers. Their previous collaborations include the romantic comedy "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" in 2011, the crime drama "Gunday" in 2014, the wrestling drama "Sultan" in 2016, and the spy thriller "Tiger Zinda Hai" in 2017. The latter two films, both starring Salman Khan, achieved blockbuster status for the studio. Zafar co-wrote the screenplay for "Beparwah" alongside Chopra.

Since the release of "Tiger Zinda Hai," Zafar has directed Khan once more in the 2019 film "Bharat," created the Prime Video political series "Tandav" in 2021, and helmed the 2024 action film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Ahaan Panday launched his professional screen career in Mohit Suri's musical romance "Saiyaara" alongside fellow newcomer Aneet Padda. The film emerged as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood hits of 2025, grossing more than $65 million worldwide and setting a record for an Indian love story. Panday is the nephew of actor Chunky Panday and the cousin of actor Ananya Panday.

Co-star Sharvari began her career in Yash Raj Films' 2021 release "Bunty Aur Babli 2" and achieved a major breakthrough with the horror-comedy "Munjya" in 2024, which crossed $14 million at the box office. Earlier this year, she starred alongside Alia Bhatt in "Alpha," marking the first female-led installment in the studio's extensive spy universe franchise.

The supporting cast of "Beparwah" features Bobby Deol, who previously worked alongside Sharvari in "Alpha," and Aaishvary Thackeray, the grandson of Shiv Sena party founder Bal Thackeray, who will portray the film's antagonist.

Established in 1970 by the late Yash Chopra and currently led by his son Aditya Chopra, Yash Raj Films remains one of India's premier motion picture studios. Its prominent cinematic spy universe encompasses Zafar's "Tiger Zinda Hai" as well as the successful "War" and "Pathaan" movie series.
