Television chef Zora Klipp is expanding her presence across German television through a variety of new programs and appearances, bringing her passion for regional cuisine to multiple networks. Klipp, who is widely known for her culinary work in Hamburg, has recently taken on new television roles ranging from guest-judging nationwide cooking competitions to starring in regional travel series and making a special soap opera cameo.

As a guest judge on the Sat.1 cooking competition "The Taste," Klipp recently introduced contestants to the flavors of Swedish cuisine for the first time in the show's history. Hosted by Angelina Kirsch, the episode challenged participating cooks to craft complex dishes based on traditional Scandinavian ingredients—such as fermented herring known as surströmming, crispbread, and meatballs—within the constraints of a single spoon. The episode also coincided with major format changes to the show, including the removal of the traditional decision-cooking round, which means solo cooking competitors face immediate elimination if they accumulate the most red stars.

Beyond her appearance on "The Taste," Klipp is the host of the NDR television travel and food series titled "Zora schmeckt's – Zu Gast in ..." The six-part series features the chef traveling across northern Germany to explore local specialties, distinctive restaurant concepts, and regional food traditions. Throughout the season, Klipp visits towns such as Lüneburg, St. Peter-Ording, Bad Zwischenahn, Wismar, Goslar, and Nordhorn, where she interacts with local food producers, bakers, and brewers.

In her NDR program, Klipp highlights diverse culinary artisans and regional dishes, ranging from wild game and salt in Lüneburg to smoked eel in Bad Zwischenahn. The production emphasizes the personal stories behind the food, showcasing individuals who work to preserve culinary traditions or establish modern gastronomic concepts. Episodes of the series air weekly on NDR television and remain accessible for streaming through the ARD Mediathek.

In addition to her cooking and travel programming, Klipp is branching out into scripted television with a guest role in the long-running daytime soap opera "Rote Rosen." Filming for her cameo takes place in Lüneburg between November 9 and November 20, as part of special celebrations marking the series' 20th anniversary and its upcoming 25th season. Klipp shared her excitement regarding the opportunity with her social media followers, noting that she would be busy memorizing lines for the guest appearance.

The episode featuring Klipp's cameo on "Rote Rosen" is scheduled to air in the summer of 2027 during the series' regular daytime slot on Das Erste. With her ongoing travel series, guest appearances in national cooking competitions, and upcoming acting debut, Klipp continues to establish a prominent footprint across various television genres centered around food, entertainment, and regional culture.
