Entertainer Tracy Morgan is returning to television screens for the second season of the mockumentary series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. Morgan stars as a disgraced former professional football player who enlists a documentarian, played by Daniel Radcliffe, to help rehabilitate his public image.

Created by Robert Carlock and Sam Means, the single-camera comedy features a visual style comparable to St. Denis Medical and Parks and Recreation, combined with a fast-paced joke delivery reminiscent of 30 Rock and Girls5Eva. The sophomore season will consist of ten episodes.

Alongside Morgan and Radcliffe, the entire primary cast from the inaugural season is returning for the new episodes. Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall are all reprising their respective roles for the program's second installment.

Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on November 2 on NBC, with new episodes airing weekly on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, directly following the premiere of St. Denis Medical Season 3. Viewers looking to stream the series can watch new episodes on Peacock the day after they broadcast on television, while the complete first season remains available on the platform.

Reflecting on the production, Radcliffe noted in an interview with NBC Insider earlier in the year that the cast established a strong working rapport very quickly. He praised his fellow actors for bringing a dedicated and enthusiastic mindset to the set.

The premiere coincides with a milestone period for the network, as NBC celebrates a century of broadcasting since airing its first program on November 15, 1926. Throughout the fall, the network is highlighting its extensive history in news, sports, and entertainment programming.
