The Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience took place with tens of thousands of participants traversing the city's boulevards. The major sporting event brought runners from across the region to compete in the marathon's multiple events, combining competitive athletics with local sightseeing.

In the men's division, Adrien Latestère successfully defended his title, completing the 42.195-kilometer course in 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 57 seconds. Running for the Blagnac SC, Latestère engaged in an intense, uninterrupted duel at the front of the pack with fellow local runner Guillaume Tiphène.

Tiphène, who recently transitioned to professional trail running with the Brooks team, finished closely behind with a time of 2 hours, 25 minutes, and 20 seconds. Latestère explained that the lack of downtime during the race forced him to maintain maximum effort throughout the course, ultimately securing his victory with a decisive kick on the final kilometer.

In the women's race, Marie Laplace triumphed in her debut marathon, crossing the finish line in 2 hours, 58 minutes, and 38 seconds. The SATUC athlete finished just twelve seconds ahead of runner-up Nadia Moussaïd despite experiencing a severe physical setback during the competition.

Laplace admitted that starting faster than planned caused her to struggle significantly by the 25th kilometer. "Yes, I confirm that it has been very hard," she stated after receiving medical assistance from the Civil Protection team at the finish line, noting that spectator encouragement helped her push through the fatigue.

The marathon unfolded during a busy weekend in the region, which also saw localized demonstrations and heightened security measures in various French cities regarding living costs and public services. While security forces managed isolated scuffles and deployed tear gas in Toulouse and other urban centers during related protests, the athletic event proceeded successfully along its designated course.

Both top runners are already looking ahead to future athletic challenges. Tiphène aims to compete in the upcoming Black Canyon Ultra in Arizona, while Laplace plans to conclude her competitive year with upcoming regional and national running events.
