Severe weather systems brought heavy rainfall, strong winds, and hail to multiple regions on Saturday, prompting meteorological warnings across several countries. Forecasters tracked active storm cells affecting local communities, bringing sudden drops in temperature and hazardous conditions.

In Argentina, storms hit the western part of La Pampa province, affecting areas between Santa Isabel, La Humada, and 25 de Mayo. Local meteorologist Jeremías Baraldi reported that the weather system moved from northwest to southeast, bringing intense downpours and hail to locations such as Algarrobo del Águila and Santa Isabel.

Residents in the Argentine province of Córdoba also experienced severe weather during the afternoon. A curtain of rain and hail swept through neighborhoods in the provincial capital including Villa Cabrera, Cerro de las Rosas, and Alta Córdoba, while agencies warned of heavy downpours in Sierras Chicas and Punilla.

Meanwhile, Mendoza's meteorological contingency division and the National Meteorological Service issued yellow alerts for expected rainfall and potential hail throughout the weekend. Officials estimated accumulated precipitation values between 20 and 40 millimeters alongside high electrical activity and moderate southeast winds.

Across the Andes in Chile, the Meteorological Directorate issued warnings for the Metropolitan Region, forecasting thunderstorms and hail for Saturday and Sunday. Meteorologist Javier Hernández noted that while central Santiago could see lower accumulation amounts, eastern sectors and foothill zones such as Las Condes, Lo Barnechea, and Puente Alto faced a high potential for severe weather events including hail during the afternoon and evening.

In North America, Mexico's National Meteorological Service tracked an incoming cold front interacting with atmospheric troughs. The systems brought strong winds, lightning, and forecasts of heavy rainfall ranging from 25 to 50 millimeters in states including Baja California and Sonora.

Weather authorities across all affected regions urged residents to remain cautious, follow official alerts, and prepare for continued instability as the weekend progresses.
