Racing Club welcomes Aldosivi to the Cilindro in Avellaneda for a decisive Clausura Tournament match scheduled to begin at 9:15 PM. While the home side is already eliminated from the playoff race and out of contention for international tournaments next season, the visitors arrive with an urgent need for points to fight off relegation.

Under interim coach Sebastián Chirola Romero, Racing aims to close out a difficult year on a positive note in front of its supporters. The team has endured a challenging run, suffering six defeats in its last ten matches across all competitions, including a 1-0 loss to River Plate at the Monumental.

During practice, Romero tested a lineup modification involving Lautaro Díaz, but ultimately decided to stick with the same starting eleven that played against River. The coaching staff valued the strong first-half performance shown in Núñez, despite ongoing difficulties in converting scoring chances in the final third. Adrián Maravilla Martínez will continue to lead the attack as the primary offensive reference.

Racing's probable formation features a 4-1-4-1 tactical setup with Facundo Cambeses in goal; a defensive line of Ezequiel Cannavo, Mateo Martínez, Gonzalo Escudero, and Ignacio Rodríguez; Matías Kranevitter anchoring the midfield alongside Matías Zaracho, Alejandro Tello, and Gastón Lodico; Tomás Conechny on the flank; and Martínez upfront. Matko Miljevic and Alfonso Espino remain absent from the roster.

On the opposing side, Aldosivi approaches the fixture facing a critical juncture for its survival in the top flight. Guided by manager Javier Sanguinetti, the Mar del Plata squad gained a slight boost following a 1-0 victory over Belgrano secured by an late goal from Andrés Vombergar.

Despite that recent win, the Sharks remain in a precarious position where a defeat in Avellaneda could seal their direct relegation, while a victory would sustain their permanence hopes into the final matchday. Sanguinetti's confirmed starting lineup includes Acosta; Moya, Breitenbruch, Pombo, and Cufré; García and Castro; Palavecino, Nicolás Gaitán, and Anso; alongside Vombergar.

The match will be officiated by referee Nazareno Arasa and broadcast live via ESPN Premium. With contrasting objectives on the line, Racing seeks to restore pride after a turbulent campaign, while Aldosivi plays for its immediate future in the Primera División.
