Claiming prizes by mail requires winners to sign their ticket, fill out a claim form, and provide a photocopy of a valid government-issued photo identification alongside proof of a Social Security number or Federal Tax ID number. These documents must be mailed to the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center located on Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.

Prizes valued over $5,000 must be claimed in person at Maryland Lottery headquarters by appointment only, Monday through Friday. Winning tickets worth up to $25,000 can also be redeemed at select Maryland casino locations across the state, including Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Live! Casino in Hanover, Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, Hollywood Casino in Perryville, and Rocky Gap Casino in Flintstone. Officials remind players that casinos cannot cash prizes over $600 for non-resident and resident aliens, and visitors must be at least 21 years old to enter a casino.
