Kanye West, the American rapper and producer also known as Ye, has officially announced a new concert in Mexico City. The performance is scheduled for March 19, 2027, at the Estadio Banorte, formerly known as the Estadio Azteca. This event follows his return to the country earlier in 2026, when he performed two shows at the Monumental Plaza de Toros México after a 17-year absence from the Mexican stage.

The announcement was shared on November 3, 2026, via the Instagram account @yestadium. The post, which featured a minimalist aesthetic, confirmed the date and venue, and was supported by the official accounts of both the Estadio Banorte and the production company 515 Entertainment. The upcoming show has been billed under the title "The Greatest Show on Earth."

Moving the performance to the Estadio Banorte represents a significant increase in capacity compared to his previous shows at the Plaza de Toros. This change suggests that the artist is preparing for a larger production, though specific details regarding the stage design, seating arrangements, and potential VIP experiences have not yet been disclosed. Fans are currently awaiting further information on how the venue will be configured for the event.

While official ticket prices and the schedule for presale and general sales remain unannounced, organizers have opened a pre-registration process for fans. Interested individuals can sign up at YeMexicoCity.com by providing their contact information and city of residence. According to the organizers, this registration allows fans to receive updates and potentially gain early access to tickets, though it does not guarantee a purchase.

The artist's previous performances in January 2026 were notable for their scale and technical production. During those shows, West utilized a large circular structure in the center of the arena, accompanied by pyrotechnics and visual effects. The setlist spanned his career, featuring tracks such as "Heartless," "Power," "Stronger," and "Runaway." A highlight of the 2026 tour was the appearance of his daughter, North West, who joined him on stage to perform several songs.

The upcoming 2027 concert takes place against a backdrop of international scrutiny. West has faced significant criticism and professional challenges in recent years due to controversial public statements, including antisemitic remarks and expressions of admiration for Adolf Hitler. These controversies have previously led to the cancellation or postponement of his performances in various countries, including the United Kingdom, Poland, Switzerland, and France.
