Former professional soccer player Sergio Ramos is currently navigating a period of personal and professional transformation, dividing his time between business investments and his sprawling estate in southern Spain. Ramos lives alongside television personality Pilar Rubio and their four children on a 44-hectare property named La Alegría, located in Bollullos de la Mitación near Seville.

Designed to ensure strict family privacy, the enclosed estate features a perimeter wall of considerable height and houses a main residence spanning 12,000 square meters, with architecture inspired by traditional Andalusian farmhouses. Among its various amenities, the property includes an artificial lake, a swimming pool, a seven-a-side soccer field, a paddle tennis court, and a private bullfighting ring, alongside a contemporary art collection and an advanced audiovisual movie theater.

A major focus of daily life on the property is the 'Yeguada SR4', an equestrian initiative dedicated to breeding purebred Spanish horses. Ramos combines his personal passion for horses with commercial operations, recently detailing an animal branding session on social media. "We perform cold branding with liquid nitrogen," Ramos explained, describing the modern veterinary-backed technique used to eliminate thermal burns from traditional irons and minimize animal stress to ensure maximum welfare.

Beyond his equestrian enterprise, Ramos has expanded his business portfolio into real estate and technology through his holding company 'Sermos 32 S.L.' and investments in the leisure platform 'Fever'. His real estate ventures have experienced mixed outcomes, including a long-term investment in land that ultimately yielded profits after years of administrative hurdles and economic challenges.

The former defender's transition away from professional sports also involved an unsuccessful bid to acquire a majority stake in Sevilla FC in a planned multi-million-dollar deal that ultimately fell through. Despite past security incidents at La Alegría that prompted increased surveillance, Andalusia remains the central hub for his post-athletic endeavors and family life.

As Ramos continues to develop his business enterprises and manage his agricultural properties, the estate serves as a secluded sanctuary for him, Pilar Rubio, and their children, far removed from the public spotlight of elite international football.
