The Board of Control for Cricket in India has officially announced its squad for the upcoming ACC Men's Under-19 Asia Cup, featuring several notable young talents including the sons of former international cricket stars. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Muscat, Oman, running from November 5 to 14.

Lakshya Raichandani has been named to captain the side, with Yashbardhan Chauhan continuing in his role as vice-captain. The squad selection follows a series of strong performances by the team in recent months, which included a successful tour against Australia in September and October where the young squad swept the four-day series 2-0 and the one-day matches 3-0.

Among the headline inclusions in the Indian roster are Aaryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid, the sons of former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid, respectively. Both players earned their call-ups following impressive domestic and international youth performances, with Dravid also designated as the team's primary wicketkeeper.

India has been placed in Group A alongside Nepal, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, Group B comprises Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Malaysia. The top two teams from each group will advance directly to the tournament's semifinal stage.

The young Indian squad is scheduled to begin its group-stage campaign against Nepal on November 6. Subsequent group fixtures include a high-profile match against Pakistan on November 8, followed by a final group-stage encounter against the United Arab Emirates on November 10.

The continental event serves as an important competitive milestone for regional youth teams, providing emerging cricketers an opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage in Oman.
