Dom Pérignon has announced a new collaboration with contemporary artist Damien Hirst to create a limited-edition gift box set for late 2026. This partnership merges fine winemaking with modern art, joining a legacy of previous creative pairings that includes fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld as well as music icons Lenny Kravitz and Lady Gaga.

The champagne brand has a history spanning nearly thirty years of collaborating with prominent contemporary creators. Beginning in 2005, the house has engaged in dialogues with various figures across decorative arts and pop culture, bringing visionary perspectives to its vintage champagne releases.

For this upcoming release, Hirst drew inspiration from his kaleidoscope series to redesign the classic Dom Pérignon shield. The intricate and recurring geometric patterns reflect his artistic philosophy, utilizing repetition and symmetry to explore themes of harmony, life, and decay through a dynamic visual lens.

The 2026 limited-edition collection features two distinct vintage champagne selections. The Dom Pérignon 2018 vintage highlights a rich profile with pronounced minerality and fruit notes, shaped by favorable weather conditions during the growing season under the direction of Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon.

Complementing the 2018 vintage is the Dom Pérignon 2010 Rosé Vintage, which offers an introspective and deep expression centered around the intensity and tension of Pinot Noir. Together, the two selections showcase a balance between brightness and depth.

Hirst, born in Bristol in 1965, rose to prominence in the late 1980s as a leading figure of the Young British Artists movement. Over his career, his work has been featured in major institutions worldwide, including Tate Modern in London and the National Museum in Amsterdam.

The collaboration bridges the traditional craftsmanship of the champagne house with Hirst's unconventional artistic methods. By aligning the art of blending with the kaleidoscope motif, the partnership seeks to demonstrate how complexity and harmony can coexist within a single creative vision.
