Class 10 Board Examinations and Result Schedules for 2026
State and central boards across India prepare for upcoming Class 10 board examinations and outline the process for accessing marksheets.
Class 10 board examinations for prominent state and central boards across India are scheduled to begin early next year. While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), and the Bihar board will initiate their matriculation exams in February 2026, the majority of state boards plan to commence testing by March 2026.
Following the conclusion of the exams, evaluation processes will begin promptly. Education officials anticipate releasing the high school board results progressively between March and June 2026, depending on the specific schedule of each board.
Students can check their results online through the respective official websites and designated result portals. To access their matriculation scores, candidates are required to log in using their roll numbers, which are printed on their exam hall tickets.
While original paper marksheets will be issued later by the governing boards, students are permitted to download digital copies for immediate reference and admission purposes. These provisional documents are intended to assist students applying for Class 11 and Class 12 programs.
Online marksheets will display several crucial details, including the candidate's name, roll number, registration number, exam details, subject-wise marks secured, minimum required marks, total marks, percentage, grades, and the final qualifying status.
To view the results online, students should navigate to their specific board's official website, locate the Class 10 result link, and enter their roll number or registration number. Once the scores appear on the screen, candidates are advised to download and save the digital document for future reference.
