Candidates preparing for the upcoming management entrance examination will now be able to access their hall tickets later this week.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 examination authorities have announced a revision to the release schedule for candidate admit cards. Originally slated for distribution on November 4, the hall tickets will now be available for download starting November 6, 2026.
Individuals who have registered for this management entrance examination are required to access their documents exclusively through the official portal at iimcat.ac.in. To retrieve the hall ticket, candidates must log in using their registered application ID and password. The examination authorities have confirmed that the admit cards for all eligible applicants have been successfully generated.
Once the download window opens on November 6, it will remain accessible until the day of the examination, which is scheduled for November 29, 2026. Officials are advising all candidates to download their documents promptly to ensure they have sufficient time to review the information provided on the card.
Upon obtaining the hall ticket, candidates are instructed to verify all personal and examination details for accuracy. Should any discrepancies be identified, applicants should immediately contact the examination authorities through the official communication channels provided on the website to resolve the issues before the test date.
The examination board has emphasized that no alternative methods for distributing admit cards will be utilized. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the official website for any further updates or instructions regarding the examination process. The authorities have also implemented enhanced security measures to ensure the integrity and smooth conduct of the testing process across all centers.
To successfully download the document, candidates should navigate to the official website, select the candidate login link, and enter their credentials. After accessing the dashboard, they can locate the download link, save the file, and print a physical copy. A printed version of the admit card is considered an essential document for entry into the examination hall on the day of the test.
