Bill and Giuliana Rancic are currently evaluating a potential move to either Nashville, Tennessee, or Florida as they look to determine the best environment for their 14-year-old son, Duke. The couple discussed their relocation plans during an episode of their podcast, noting that the decision is heavily influenced by their son as he prepares to enter high school next fall.

Giuliana explained that the family has moved multiple times over the years, living in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin. Nashville has long remained on their radar, and after visiting the city, they are seriously considering it as a destination. However, the couple is also looking at Florida to accommodate different lifestyle preferences.

The catalyst for the current moving discussions stems from comments made by Duke regarding urban life. According to Giuliana, their son described city life as chaotic and stressful. She noted that hearing him communicate with such directness pushed the conversation beyond general lifestyle choices and into the practical reality of where a teenager would feel most comfortable.

Weighing the two options presents a clear contrast between practical fit and personal hobbies. Giuliana mentioned that Nashville checks many boxes for the family, while Florida appeals directly to Bill because of his love for boating, the water, and warm weather. Despite the different appeals, the couple has not yet decided which location they will ultimately choose.

The family aims to finalize their living situation before Duke starts high school next fall. Giuliana emphasized that their primary focus is providing the best possible experience for their son during these upcoming formative years, pointing out that he will be reaching adulthood before they know it.

The Rancics celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in September, having first met in 2004 when Giuliana interviewed Bill after he won the inaugural season of The Apprentice. They married in 2007 on the Italian island of Capri and welcomed Duke in 2012. Throughout nearly two decades together, the couple has navigated significant personal challenges, including fertility struggles and Giuliana's successful battle with breast cancer, before turning their attention to their next family chapter.
