Becca Devens, wife of recent Big Brother winner Rick Devens, announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The couple shared the personal health update in a joint video posted to Instagram on Sunday, October 25, alongside their pet dog.

In the video, Becca explained that she received the diagnosis shortly after her husband returned home from the finale of Big Brother season 28. "Rick won Big Brother, and then we came home and I got diagnosed with breast cancer," Becca said, describing the unexpected development as a major plot twist.

Despite the difficult news, Becca noted that routine screenings allowed doctors to catch the illness in its early stages. "We caught it early because I do my mammograms like a good girl, and I'm going to get a double mastectomy," she stated, adding that she hopes surgery will be the only medical intervention necessary.

Becca also scheduled an MRI for Tuesday, October 27, to confirm the extent and precise location of the cancer. She asked their followers and fans to send "good vibes and prayers" as she prepares for the upcoming procedure and treatment phases.

Rick Devens expressed strong confidence in his wife's resilience in the comments section of their post. "Thank you all for the love! Becca's got this," Rick wrote. "Luckily she's the tough one. Also, the funny, charming, smart, good looking one."
