The Washington Wizards secured a 103-94 victory against the Orlando Magic on Monday night at the Kia Center, powered by a stellar performance from Anthony Davis. Davis tallied 29 points and eight rebounds, while rookie AJ Dybantsa contributed 21 points in just his third NBA appearance to help the visitors hand Orlando its fourth consecutive home loss.

Washington shot 53 percent overall from the field. Kyshawn George added 22 points, and Trae Young chipped in 15 points and nine assists for the Wizards, who capitalized on a well-rested roster against a tired opponent. Young scored 10 points during a crucial 13-2 Washington run in the second quarter after Orlando had established an early nine-point lead.

The momentum continued into the third quarter, where Young completed an 8-0 scoring outburst with a layup to give the Wizards a 79-68 advantage, marking the largest lead of the game. Davis shot 12 for 17 from the floor and recorded three steals, anchoring a strong offensive display that left the Magic searching for answers.

Franz Wagner led the Orlando offense with 24 points, while Desmond Bane contributed 20 points, including four three-pointers. Jamal Cain and Tristan da Silva each added 10 points for the Magic, who struggled from beyond the arc by shooting just 28.2 percent on 11-of-39 shooting from three-point range after making four of their first five attempts.

The Magic played severely short-handed on the second night of a back-to-back set, missing key contributors due to injuries. Paolo Banchero missed his fifth straight game with an ankle sprain, Jalen Suggs sat out his fourth consecutive contest with a knee injury, and Anthony Black was held out as a precaution following Sunday's loss to the Boston Celtics.

Reflecting on the offensive distribution despite the absences, Wagner noted postgame that teammates had to step up. Meanwhile, the Wizards managed the victory despite playing without center Alex Sarr, who was sidelined with a knee injury after starting the team's first six games of the season.

Following this divisional matchup, the Washington Wizards return home to host the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic will look to rebound when they travel to face the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night.
