Ticketmaster is playing a central role in several major sports, music, and comedy announcements, ranging from professional hockey accessibility initiatives to high-profile international concert and tour ticket sales.

The National Hockey League and Ticketmaster are partnering to provide complimentary OneCourt haptic tablets to blind and low-vision fans at all major league events across North America this season. The technology converts live game tracking data into vibrations, allowing fans to physically feel the plays as they happen on the ice. The rollout began at the 2026 NHL Heritage Classic in Winnipeg and will extend to upcoming tentpole events including the Winter Classic, All-Star Weekend, and Stadium Series.

In addition to league-wide events, select NHL franchises including the Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks, Washington Capitals, and Detroit Red Wings are incorporating OneCourt devices into all of their home games this season. Ticketmaster's sponsorship support has also helped expand the haptic technology to nine NBA teams and various other sports leagues.

In the entertainment sector, Puerto Rican reggaeton star Wisin has announced that tickets for the Spanish leg of his 'Universidad del Perreo' tour will be available through Ticketmaster starting November 10. The tour will feature stops at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona on March 4, 2027, and the Movistar Arena in Madrid on March 6, 2027, showcasing a mix of his classic hits and new tracks from his latest album.

British comedian and television personality Paddy McGuinness has also announced his upcoming 33-date 'Blast From The Past' tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland, with general ticket sales launching via Ticketmaster. The tour is scheduled to run from October 2027 through March 2028, combining stand-up comedy with nostalgic pop culture references.

These ticketing rollouts and accessibility partnerships arrive as Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation, continue to navigate legal and corporate developments. Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday recently discussed his decision to continue prosecuting antitrust litigation against the ticket seller after a federal jury in New York found that the company held an illegal monopoly over major concert venues.

While the U.S. Justice Department previously reached a settlement with the companies, Sunday and approximately 30 other state attorneys general maintained their legal challenge. A federal judge must still determine potential penalties in the case, while the companies seek to overturn the verdict.
