Stade Reims goalkeeper Tom Ritzy Hülsmann has received his first-ever selection for a German national team, earning a spot on the Under-21 squad ahead of November 2026 international fixtures. Germany U21 head coach Antonio Di Salvo announced his 23-man roster as the team begins preparations for next summer's European U21 Championship.

Hülsmann is one of two first-time call-ups included in the latest selection, alongside FC Augsburg defender Hennes Behrens. The young squad features a mix of returning talent and new faces as the coaching staff evaluates options for the upcoming continental tournament.

The German side is scheduled to face Belgium in Essen on November 13 before traveling to Croatia for their final international match of 2026 on November 17. Both upcoming opponents have also successfully qualified for next summer's European Championship.

In addition to Hülsmann and Behrens, the squad includes returning players Mika Baur, Dennis Seimen, Muhammed Damar, Anton Kade, and Cajetan Lenz. Meanwhile, several other eligible players have been incorporated into the senior national team squad under national team leadership.

The complete 23-man roster spans goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards from various domestic and international clubs. Alongside Hülsmann in goal are Mio Backhaus of SC Freiburg and Dennis Seimen of VfB Stuttgart.

The defensive line features Elias Baum, Hennes Behrens, Nnamdi Collins, Karim Coulibaly, Linus Gechter, Leandro Morgalla, Joshua Quarshie, and Lukas Ullrich. The midfield comprises Noel Aseko, Mika Baur, Louey Ben Farhat, Muhammed Damar, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Anton Kade, Mert Kömür, Cajetan Lenz, and Laurin Ulrich.

Rounding out the squad are forwards Paris Brunner, Dzenan Pejcinovic, and Nicolo Tresoldi. Head coach Di Salvo will be working without several injured players, including Ilyas Ansah, Noahkai Banks, Noah Darvich, Aljoscha Kemlein, Assan Ouedraogo, and Nelson Weiper.
