Rosario Launches Real-Time Public Transit Tracking via Mapping Apps

The Municipality of Rosario has integrated new real-time information channels to help public transit passengers track urban transport status and traffic incidents. Through an agreement with Ualabee, a partner of mapping platforms in Latin America, mobility data for the city is now accessible on major navigation services.

This update allows commuters to track bus locations along their routes, check estimated arrival times, and verify whether vehicles are running ahead or behind schedule. The system also provides details on temporary route modifications, including the start and end times for each detour, to facilitate better trip planning.

Municipal officials stated that the implementation of new GPS devices across all operational units managed by MOVI Rosario and Rosario Bus significantly improved data accuracy. The Integrated Operations Center of Rosario and the Mobility Authority will monitor these changes to minimize discrepancies between application estimates and actual bus arrivals.

In addition to public transit updates, the platform integration brings improvements for private vehicle drivers. Waze will now feature official municipal data regarding public road work, such as repaving projects, cultural gatherings, traffic accidents, and demonstrations that might cause congestion.

In separate local news, the Archdiocese of Rosario recently hosted interfaith dialogue and historical memory events in educational settings. Eliana Rapp, head of educational programs for the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem, participated in meetings with religious leaders, educators, and university students on November 3.

The gatherings focused on promoting democratic coexistence, institutional values, and mutual respect among diverse communities. The academic session held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in Rosario emphasized the importance of educating younger generations about the Holocaust to help eradicate prejudice.

Meanwhile, local residents faced shifting weather conditions as a Friday forecast predicted a transition from clear skies to rain and thunderstorms. Meteorological reports indicated daytime temperatures reaching a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees Celsius, accompanied by changing wind patterns throughout the afternoon and evening.
