Julian F. M. Stoeckel and Marcell Damaschke express disappointment after being uninvited from the upcoming reunion show.

Reality television personalities Julian F. M. Stoeckel and his partner, Marcell Damaschke, will not participate in the upcoming reunion special for the latest season of the reality series 'Das Sommerhaus der Stars'. The couple announced that they were uninvited from the event, which brings together the cast members to discuss the events and conflicts of the season.

Stoeckel and Damaschke entered the show as late replacements and remained in the house for only two episodes before their exit. During their brief time on the program, they decided to forfeit an elimination challenge rather than complete the physical task. Despite their short stay, both participants expected to join the rest of the cast for the final reunion discussion scheduled for November 3.

According to Stoeckel, his manager received a notification from the production company stating that he and Damaschke did not need to attend the gathering. 'The production company contacted my manager and said that Marcell and I do not need to come to the reunion,' Stoeckel stated. 'There was no proper explanation.'

Stoeckel expressed frustration over the lack of a clear reason, speculating that the decision may have been driven by editorial preferences. He suggested that the production team might have felt their presence would be too lighthearted and harmonious, noting a perceived emphasis on intense arguments and conflict among participants. Damaschke also voiced his disappointment, stating that even contestants with brief appearances remain part of the team and deserve to be included.

In response to the claims, a spokesperson for the network addressed the guest selection process without referencing specific individuals. The network stated that not all couples from the season take part in the reunion special. Furthermore, the selection of guests is made exclusively based on editorial criteria and aligns with the overarching themes of the program.

The reunion special will be hosted by Frauke Ludowig and broadcast exclusively on the streaming platform RTL+, marking a change from previous years when the final recap was available for free on traditional television. Meanwhile, the grand finale of the season is scheduled to air in early November, with early availability on the streaming service.
