Real Sociedad extended their strong run of form on Sunday, October 25, securing a 2-1 victory against Levante UD on Matchday 10 of LaLiga at the Reale Arena. Playing in front of 30,035 spectators in San Sebastián, the hosts capitalized on early momentum and maintained control for much of the match to claim all three points.

The home side entered the fixture on the back of an impressive 5-2 win over Málaga, while Levante arrived brimming with confidence following a commanding 3-1 victory against Athletic Bilbao. Both teams looked to reaffirm their attacking prowess in what promised to be an enticing clash.

Real Sociedad needed only five minutes to break the deadlock. Luka Sucic delivered a precise long pass with the outside of his boot to Héctor Fort, who crossed immediately into the area. An unfortunate mix-up between a missed attempt by striker Óskarsson and a clearance effort by Levante defender Nacho Pérez resulted in the ball turning into the visiting net for an own goal.

Just two minutes later, Óskarsson nearly doubled the lead after breaking free into open space for a one-on-one opportunity against the opposing goalkeeper, but his shot grazed the post and was later ruled offside.

Levante responded in the 23rd minute following a strong individual effort down the left flank by Thiago Fernández. The winger delivered a well-placed cross to the far post, where Nacho Pérez capitalized on a defensive misunderstanding between goalkeeper Álex Remiro and Sergio Gómez to equalize and make it 1-1.

The parity lasted only a few minutes. In the 27th minute, Sucic distributed the ball to Sergio Gómez, who connected with Gonçalo Guedes. The Portuguese winger immediately laid it off for the arriving Beñat Turrientes, whose slightly deflected left-footed strike beat goalkeeper Ryan to restore Real Sociedad's lead at 2-1.

With the scoreline in their favor, the Donostia side dominated the remainder of the first half and generated several clear opportunities to extend their advantage through Óskarsson and Guedes. Before the interval, Levante mounted a threat when Iván Romero unleashed a powerful long-range strike that forced Remiro into a diving save.

In the second half, Real Sociedad continued to dictate the pace of the game, coming close to scoring again through a crossed shot from Guedes and multiple second-half attempts from both Guedes and Ander Barrenetxea. Levante sought an equalizer late in the match through Etta Eyong, whose shot missed the target, ensuring the hosts held on for the 2-1 final score.
