German Paralympic athlete and television personality Mathias Mester is set to appear as a featured guest at the Adam Riese Show on November 22, 2026. The event, hosted by local cultural figure Adam Riese, will take place at the Engelsaal in the Atlantic Hotel in Münster, Germany.

Mester, a native of Münster who grew up in Coesfeld, is widely recognized for his distinguished career in para-athletics. Before transitioning to track and field, where he achieved international success as a javelin thrower, Mester began his sporting journey on the soccer field. His accomplishments include multiple world and European championship titles in the javelin throw, as well as a silver medal in the shot put at the Paralympic Games. He has represented Germany at several Paralympic Games, including Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Mester has become a prominent public figure in Germany. He gained significant national attention through his participation in the popular dance competition show 'Let's Dance.' Additionally, he has authored a book titled 'Starting Small, Hitting it Big: My Crazy Life at 142.5 cm,' in which he discusses his personal history, the challenges of living with dwarfism, and the importance of social inclusion. In a 2023 interview with the magazine S-Quin, Mester emphasized that 'open interaction is the be-all and end-all' of a healthy society.

The Adam Riese Show will feature a diverse program alongside Mester. Actor Stephan A. Tölle, known for his roles in popular television crime series such as 'Nord Nord Mord' and 'Nord bei Nordwest,' will also participate. Tölle, who is a member of the ensemble for the Karl-May-Spiele in Bad Segeberg, has a long history in theater and performance, having started his career with a street performance group in the 1990s.

Rounding out the guest list is Jule Weber, a Bochum-based author and prominent voice in the German-language spoken-word scene. Weber has received multiple awards for her poetry, which often explores themes of loss, human connection, and the search for belonging. She is also active in the collective 'Waste Your Lyric' and hosts a podcast focused on interpersonal challenges.

The evening will be musically supported by the house band 'Markus Paßlick and his Original Pumpernickel,' which performs jazz arrangements. Comedian Jens Heinrich Claassen is also scheduled to appear, providing humor and assisting the host throughout the event. The show is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the hotel's sixth-floor venue, with tickets currently available through local outlets and online platforms.
