Nicole Taylor, a member of the country music trio Taylor Red, has died at the age of 35 following a battle with breast cancer. Her identical triplet sisters and bandmates, Natalie and Nika, announced her passing on November 2, revealing that she died on September 28, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The sisters shared an emotional video tribute and a statement on their official website to honor the oldest of the three siblings. "Nicole, the oldest of us three sisters, will be greatly missed. She was our leader and our best friend. We are heartbroken, but we know she is in Heaven and will see her again," they wrote.

Recalling her diagnosis in 2022, the surviving sisters explained that Nicole was found to have stage three aggressive breast cancer. Despite the initial shock, they noted that Nicole maintained a positive attitude and a deep faith, telling them that God would use the situation for His glory and vowing to find joy during the difficult journey rather than live in fear.

At one point during her treatment, Nicole responded well enough to ring the bell, indicating there was no evidence of the disease. However, the cancer later returned as stage four. Although doctors initially gave her a prognosis of three months left, she defied expectations to live for another year while continuing to work two jobs and travel, before passing away.

A private funeral service has already been held for Nicole. The family established a memorial page directing fans to make donations to Samaritan's Purse, which was noted as one of her favorite charities, alongside scripture passages celebrating her faith and ministry.

The musical journey of the three sisters began in 2011 under the name Red Roots, blending country, Southern gospel, and bluegrass. They gained widespread recognition in the Christian music community, winning awards and releasing several albums before officially rebranding as Taylor Red in 2018. The group eventually built a massive following across digital platforms, amassing millions of followers on YouTube and TikTok while touring extensively across North America and internationally.
