Ryoka Fujisawa, keyboardist for the popular band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, is launching a major collaboration with the family restaurant chain Gusto. Starting October 22 at 10:30 a.m. across all Gusto locations nationwide, the campaign introduces a specially curated menu titled 'Chef RyoChan' along with limited-edition merchandise and in-store background music selected by Fujisawa.

During a press event held in Tokyo on October 21, Fujisawa appeared in a chef's uniform and expressed his excitement about the partnership, noting that he used to visit Gusto frequently after late-night band practices when he first moved to Tokyo. 'It feels like my child is meeting everyone for the first time,' Fujisawa said regarding the debut of the menu. 'I want people to enjoy the authentic flavors while also catching the touches of our band's essence.'

The collaboration features six main dishes developed through numerous tasting sessions and meetings. The items incorporate the favorite foods of fellow band members Motoki Omori and Hiroto Wakai, as well as nods to the group's fan base, known as JAM'S. The preparation scale for these dishes marks the largest in the history of the restaurant chain's collaborative projects.

Among the highlighted dishes is the 'Ryotchan's Memorable Spicy Chige Nabe Set,' priced at 1,649 yen. Fujisawa explained that the dish recreates the comforting spicy stew he relied on during his early days in the capital, now paired with pork belly and bulgogi kimbap. Other offerings include a basil-infused tomato and bacon pizza priced at 1,319 yen, a chicken and vegetable grill plate priced at 1,649 yen with a choice of ume or honey mustard sauce, and a fruit salad dressed with a refreshing ume vinaigrette priced at 1,209 yen.

The menu also features sweets such as the 'Ryoppy's Delicious Apple Pie' for 1,209 yen, which comes with a limited-edition sticker, and a jewel-like green apple mousse scheduled for release at a later date. Additionally, customers ordering specific promotional items will receive exclusive merchandise divided into two waves. The first wave, starting October 22, includes randomized apple-shaped mugs and cutlery sets, while the second wave, beginning November 11, offers decorative plates, lunch cloths, and rubber coaster charms designed to form a complete table set.

To enhance the restaurant atmosphere, Gusto will play a custom playlist curated by Fujisawa, featuring tracks such as 'Brand New,' 'Kaze to Machi,' and 'Carrying Happiness,' broadcast every two hours between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. The campaign will run through December 2, offering fans and casual diners alike a multi-sensory restaurant experience.
