Grammy-winning country music artist Miranda Lambert is set to perform during the halftime show at the upcoming Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day, November 26. The announcement was made by the team, highlighting the artist's East Texas roots and her role in a long-standing holiday tradition at AT&T Stadium.

Lambert will take center stage for the 30th consecutive Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the matchup between the Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. Expressing enthusiasm for the event, Lambert noted her excitement to return home to Texas and contribute to an initiative that supports families in need.

"There's something special about how music brings people together, especially when it's to spread joy and hope to families who need it most," Lambert said in the announcement. "The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys have built an incredible tradition with the Red Kettle Kickoff, and I can't wait to be back home in Texas this Thanksgiving to help carry it forward."

This year's halftime performance coincides with the 136th Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. Together, the annual campaign and the halftime show have raised more than $3.4 billion over the years for charitable causes.

Charlotte Jones, chief brand officer and co-owner of the Dallas Cowboys, emphasized the significance of the milestone. "For 30 years, incredible artists have taken our halftime stage to help The Salvation Army bring hope to millions of people in need. We're grateful to Miranda Lambert for joining that legacy and helping us continue this meaningful tradition," Jones stated.

The Cowboys' Thanksgiving halftime tradition began in 1997 with country music icon Reba McEntire as the inaugural performer. Over the past three decades, the stage has hosted a wide range of prominent artists, including Destiny's Child, LeAnn Rimes, Daughtry, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, Kelly Clarkson, and Kenny Chesney.
