KFC Launches Global Avengers: Doomsday Collaboration Featuring Doctor Doom Menu
The fast-food chain is rolling out a limited-time, villain-inspired menu and collectible figurines in over 100 countries ahead of the film's December release.
KFC has announced its most expansive global partnership to date, teaming up with Marvel Studios to promote the upcoming film "Avengers: Doomsday." The campaign, which centers on the iconic villain Doctor Doom, features a specially curated menu and limited-edition packaging designed to reflect the character's aesthetic. The collaboration is scheduled to launch in participating markets on November 9, 2026, and will continue through January 31, 2027.
The promotional campaign includes a video advertisement depicting a damaged cityscape following a battle, where a single KFC restaurant remains standing. According to the company, the narrative suggests that KFC reached an agreement with Doctor Doom by providing a menu worthy of his name. The effort spans video, social media, and in-restaurant activations across more than 100 countries, though the promotion will not be available in the United States, India, or China.
The "Doomified" menu introduces several new flavor profiles, including a Smoky Green Mayo, a caramelized Doom Cola sauce, and a "Doom Dust" seasoning featuring charred lime and chili. Specific items include the Doom Burger, served on a black sesame bun, Doom Dripped Wings, and Doom Loaded Fries. For dessert and beverages, the chain is offering a Doom Shake and a Doom Supreme Fizz, both utilizing green and black color palettes to match the villain's theme.
In addition to the food items, the collaboration features the Colonel Sanders Cosplay Collection, a series of five collectible figurines depicting the KFC mascot dressed as various characters from the film. These items, along with iron-riveted packaging featuring Doctor Doom’s mask, will be available in select regions while supplies last. KFC Global Chief Concept Officer Christophe Poirier stated that the company aims to place the brand at the center of a global cultural phenomenon through this partnership.
The film "Avengers: Doomsday," directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026. The movie features an extensive ensemble cast, including Robert Downey Jr., who portrays Doctor Doom. Disney representatives noted that the collaboration is designed to extend the excitement surrounding the film's release beyond the cinema experience, providing fans with unique ways to engage with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In related news regarding the film, actor Channing Tatum has appeared in separate promotional material for Dunkin' Donuts, reprising his role as Gambit. Tatum has indicated that his portrayal of the character in "Avengers: Doomsday" will feature a more serious tone than his previous appearance in "Deadpool & Wolverine." The actor noted that it was important to balance humor with the dramatic requirements of the new film, as the character transitions into a more significant role within the Marvel narrative.
