Justin Baldoni Sells Los Angeles Home for $2.1 Million Amid Nashville Move
The director and actor has offloaded his Culver City property following his high-profile legal battle and relocation to Tennessee.
Actor and director Justin Baldoni has quietly sold his former home in Culver City, California, for $2,100,000 in an off-market transaction. The sale comes months after Baldoni, his wife Emily, and their children relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, seeking a fresh start following years of legal disputes and intense media scrutiny.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence, built in 1952, sits on a 5,736-square-foot lot and spans nearly 2,000 square feet. Baldoni originally purchased the fixer-upper property in 2017 for $1,040,000. Following extensive renovations that incorporated feng shui principles and custom family features, the sale yielded a profit of approximately one million dollars.
The relocation to Music City took place in January, with the family acquiring a newly built, $3.4 million home spanning 7,000 square feet on an acre lot. An insider noted in May that while the period has been incredibly difficult for the family, Nashville has provided them with a peaceful environment focused on healing and family life.
The real estate move follows a tumultuous period for Baldoni, which included distancing himself from Hollywood amid a bitter legal battle with his "It Ends With Us" co-star Blake Lively. Lively initially filed complaints against Wayfarer Studios in December 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on set and orchestrating a smear campaign.
Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit citing defamation and breach of contract. The initial legal claims and countersuits were eventually dismissed by a judge, and both parties reached a private settlement in May 2026. A subsequent legal dispute over legal fees concluded when an order awarded Lively a portion of the requested amount.
In July, Baldoni and his wife broke their silence regarding the ordeal in an Instagram Reel, addressing the immense noise and trauma they experienced while allowing the justice system to run its course. With their legal chapter settling, Baldoni's professional life is also seeing new developments, including Wayfarer Studios producing Gina Rodriguez's upcoming directorial debut.
Despite cutting ties with his Culver City property, Baldoni still maintains some roots in California. He previously listed a sprawling Spanish-style estate in Ojai for $8.88 million, though property records indicate that listing was ultimately taken off the market.
