The eighth episode of MobLand's second season, titled "We Don't Talk Anymore," delivers a wave of high-stakes conflicts, tragic deaths, and unsettling revelations for the Harrigan family. Following the dramatic events of the previous episode, where Harry Da Souza orchestrated the assassination of Michael Cooper inside prison, the fallout triggers dangerous paths toward revenge and uncovers long-buried secrets.

Following Michael's death, his father, Frankie Cooper, is left completely devastated and refuses Harry's proposal to end their violent feud. With his son gone, Frankie has little reason to negotiate, putting Harry's family and his daughter Gina directly in the crosshairs. Meanwhile, Harry attempts to clean up other loose ends, assisting Jan after Donnie's murder and suggesting that she and Gina escape the criminal empire.

Tensions within the Harrigan household continue to escalate as Conrad exhibits increasingly erratic behavior. After revealing to Eddie that his abusive childhood stepfather was not his biological father, Conrad summons Kevin to discuss the future of the criminal empire. During the conversation, Conrad confesses that he is being haunted by daytime visions of his past murder victims. The encounter takes a frightening turn when Conrad briefly points a gun at Kevin before regaining his composure and sending him away.

Eddie faces his own emotional turmoil throughout the episode. After confronting Conrad about the lies surrounding his parentage, he receives a rare moment of tenderness when Conrad calls him his son and tells him, "It's not how you get here, it's what you do next." However, Eddie's relationship with Kevin hits an all-time low after Kevin expresses deep disdain for him during a private conversation with Conrad. Furthermore, Eddie finds himself enduring psychological manipulation from Maeve, culminating in a tense showdown in the steam room.

The episode's closing minutes introduce a shocking new mystery as a final montage reveals a submerged body in the lake at Conrad's Cotswolds estate. The identity of the victim remains unconfirmed, though JoJo has been mentioned as a possible candidate due to his prior disappearance. The discovery comes to light after Colin Tattersall speaks with the suspended Detective Kavanagh, claiming an anonymous informant tipped him off about hidden bodies in the lake in an effort to help authorities build a case against the Harrigans.

As the season approaches its final episodes, multiple threats converge on the family. Kelly "Mad Dog" O'Connor reviews footage of Medusa's death and sets his sights on revenge against Eddie and Gina. With Frankie plotting retaliation, Kelly hunting for payback, and a submerged body threatening to expose the family's dark past, the Harrigans face an impending storm that even Harry may struggle to contain.
