Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow put together a historic performance on Sunday afternoon, leading his team to a thrilling 43-36 overtime victory over the visiting Tennessee Titans. The win improved the Bengals' record to 5-2 on the season.

Burrow recorded a stat line matched by only one other player in NFL history. The veteran signal-caller completed 38 of 48 pass attempts for 462 yards, throwing five touchdown passes and three interceptions while also adding a rushing touchdown.

With that performance, Burrow joined Pro Football Hall of Famer Norm Van Brocklin as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to record at least 450 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown in a single game. Van Brocklin originally set the mark in 1951 with the Los Angeles Rams.

Despite throwing three interceptions on a chaotic afternoon, Burrow persevered and delivered when it mattered most. The defining moment came in overtime when he scrambled for a 9-yard rushing touchdown that secured the game-winning points for Cincinnati.

The Titans struggled to contain the Bengals' offense despite Burrow's turnovers, as the Cincinnati defense limited the damage to a single field goal following the miscues. The loss dropped Tennessee deeper into a difficult stretch, leaving them winless through their first eight games of the season.

Burrow now has 20 passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns on the year. His record-setting afternoon ensures the victory over Tennessee will remain a memorable chapter in the Bengals' season as they continue their push in the American Football Conference.
