FC Barcelona returned to winning ways in dominant fashion on Saturday, securing a resounding 6-1 victory against Deportivo Alavés at Camp Nou during matchday 11 of La Liga. Entering the fixture eager to rebound from consecutive defeats against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and Real Madrid in El Clásico, Hansi Flick's side wasted no time establishing control on their home turf.

The hosts asserted their dominance early in the first half. Raphinha opened the scoring for Barcelona shortly after kickoff, converting from close range following an assist by Fermín López. Moments later, Fermín López added a second goal with a sharp angled strike into the top right corner. Raphinha struck again before the interval to claim his second of the match, followed shortly by a fourth goal from Lamine Yamal, giving Barcelona a comfortable 4-0 lead at halftime.

Despite commanding the match, Barcelona faced defensive reshuffles as manager Hansi Flick dealt with a heavily depleted backline. Injuries sidelined key defenders including Andreas Christensen, Eric García, and Jules Kounde, prompting tactical adjustments. Midfielder Frenkie de Jong dropped into a deeper role alongside Pau Cubarsí, while youngsters like Braian Fariñas were called upon to help manage the defensive workload.

The second half continued in much the same fashion as Barcelona maintained relentless offensive pressure. Lamine Yamal and his teammates consistently tested Alavés goalkeeper Antonio Sivera. Midfielder Fermín López orchestrated much of the attacking movement, heavily involved in multiple scoring sequences throughout the evening.

As the game progressed into the final thirty minutes, both managers utilized their substitutes to manage player workloads ahead of upcoming European fixtures. Anthony Gordon extended Barcelona's lead further in the second half by chipping the ball over Sivera following a precise through ball from Rodri, pushing the scoreline to 6-0.

Deportivo Alavés managed to salvage a consolation goal late in the match when Mariano Díaz capitalized on a loose backpass and slotted a low shot past goalkeeper Joan García to make it 6-1. The visitors struggled to impose themselves offensively for much of the contest, remaining winless in their recent league outings.

With this comprehensive victory, Barcelona reinforced its position near the top of the La Liga standings, collecting 27 points from their opening matches. The Blaugrana will now look to carry this offensive momentum forward as they prepare for their upcoming Champions League encounter against Aston Villa.
