Celebrity Race Across The World 2026 Premieres on BBC

The hit competition series Celebrity Race Across The World returns for its 2026 edition, premiering on Wednesday, October 28, at 8 p.m. BST on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The show puts well-known personalities through an intense test of endurance as they travel across continents without modern technology.

This year's line-up features singer-songwriter Ella Eyre participating alongside her childhood friend Nana, TV and radio presenter Jeff Stelling travelling with his son Matt, and influencer Princess Andre joined by her brother, musician Junior Andre. Musician Sam Ryder also competes alongside his best friend and tour manager, Kaz.

The contestants face a demanding physical and mental challenge as they navigate the globe relying solely on their wits, limited financial resources, and public transportation. Participants are stripped of their mobile phones and access to modern conveniences throughout the competition.

The route for the 2026 contest begins in Kuching, located in the Malaysian state of Sarawak in northwest Borneo. From there, competitors must pass through five checkpoints spanning three countries and two different continents before reaching the ultimate finish line in Melbourne, Australia.

While the series is broadcasted weekly on BBC One and made available for streaming on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom, international viewers currently do not have official broadcast options in the United States, Canada, or Australia without utilizing virtual private networks.

The intense competition format continues to captivate audiences by combining travel adventure with the unscripted dynamics of celebrity pairs tackling unfamiliar and rugged environments together.
