The Arizona Cardinals secured a thrilling 33-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on November 1, 2026, capped by a game-winning field goal from kicker Chad Ryland. Ryland redeemed himself in the closing moments after missing what would have been a decisive extra point at the end of regulation following a late touchdown.

Arizona struggled during the first half, falling behind 17-3 and switching quarterbacks in the third quarter. Head coach made a crucial change by replacing starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett with Gardner Minshew. Minshew energized the offense, finishing the game completing 17 of 23 passes for 188 yards and orchestrating multiple scoring drives.

Brissett endured a difficult outing before his benching, going 10-for-23 for 119 yards with an interception while getting sacked four times. The offensive struggles were compounded by injuries in the backfield. Running back Jeremiyah Love exited the contest during the first quarter following a short carry, having previously missed the prior two games while managing an ankle injury. Love attempted to return but ultimately aggravated the ankle issue, leaving him questionable before being sidelined for good.

Adding to the team's physical toll, running back Bam Knight also suffered a hard hit and fumbled before leaving the field with the assistance of trainers. With Love and Knight sidelined, Tyler Allgeier stepped up as the team's lone healthy running back for the second half. Allgeier delivered an exceptional performance, carrying the ball 11 times for 147 yards and a touchdown, while also catching five passes for 44 yards and another score.

Michael Wilson provided a strong target in the passing game for Arizona, hauling in eight receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. Tight end Trey McBride also contributed heavily, catching a wide-open touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter to help narrow the deficit before Minshew led the final regulation drive.

For Dallas, quarterback Dak Prescott performed efficiently, completing passes and rushing for a 5-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to help build a 24-10 lead. However, the Cowboys defense failed to hold off the late-game surge orchestrated by Minshew and the visiting Cardinals offense, which totaled 467 yards on the day.

With the hard-fought win, the Cardinals improved their record to 3-5 on the season. The team will look to carry this momentum forward as they prepare to travel to Seattle for their next matchup on November 8.
