Actor Eddie Murphy is returning to television screens in his iconic role as Detroit police officer Axel Foley. The television network 6ter has scheduled broadcasts of Beverly Hills Cop II, directed by Tony Scott, for viewers in November 2026.

The 1987 American action-comedy film follows Foley as he heads back to California to assist his colleagues and friends with a high-profile criminal case. In this sequel, the plot centers around a string of armed robberies marked by alphabet letters that terrorize the city.

When Captain Andrew Bogomil, played by Ronny Cox, is severely wounded in the line of duty, Foley reunites with fellow officers Billy Rosewood and John Taggart. Judges Reinhold and John Ashton reprise their respective roles as Rosewood and Taggart to aid in the investigation.

The trio's pursuit of justice leads them to investigate a local shooting club and the illicit operations of businessman Maxwell Dent, portrayed by Jürgen Prochnow. Additionally, actress Brigitte Nielsen joins the cast as Karla Fry, while other notable actors include Allen Garfield, Dean Stockwell, and Paul Reiser.

While Martin Brest directed the original 1984 film, the sequel's direction was handed over to Tony Scott. Larry Ferguson and Warren Skaaren penned the screenplay for the production, which features a musical score composed by Harold Faltermeyer.

Television schedules indicate that the network will broadcast Beverly Hills Cop II on Sunday, November 8, 2026, starting at 9:10 PM, followed by a late-night broadcast on Sunday, November 15, at 11:10 PM. Furthermore, the network plans to air the original first film from 1984 on November 8 at 10:50 PM.
