Rumored Cast and Anticipated Return of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
As the hit reality competition show prepares to return to Australia, numerous public figures are rumored to be joining the upcoming camp lineup.
As November arrives, anticipation builds for the return of the popular reality competition show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" Hosted by Ant and Dec from Australia, the program is scheduled to air later this month, bringing back its signature blend of outdoor camp life and challenging Bushtucker Trials.
While ITV has not yet confirmed the official contestant list and has stated that all names circulating are purely speculative, a large number of high-profile celebrities are reportedly in advanced discussions to join the upcoming season. Among the most talked-about names is comedian Leigh Francis, known as Keith Lemon. Hosts Ant and Dec publicly urged Francis to join their podcast "Hanging Out with Ant and Dec," describing him as their dream signing and expressing enthusiasm for watching him tackle a gruesome trial.
Another major rumored signing is former professional footballer Wayne Rooney. Sources suggest that negotiations with Rooney are in advanced stages, which could make him the biggest signing in the show's history. His wife, Coleen Rooney, finished as the runner-up on the program in 2024, and reports indicate Wayne is eager to impress his four sons by taking on the jungle challenges.
The prospective lineup also features several other notable television personalities and performers. Sources report that Big Brother host AJ Odudu has held early conversations about participating, while Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has reportedly agreed to join after previously declining offers for years. Additional names said to be in talks include former Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova, former Love Islander Chloe Burrows, actress Claire Sweeney, and Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
Further expanding the potential roster, model Leomie Anderson, former Mis-Teeq member Su-Elise Nash, and Paralympian Ade Adepitan have also been linked to the upcoming season. If Adepitan enters the camp, producers are reportedly looking into ways to adapt the campsite to accommodate a wheelchair user. Additionally, junior and princess Andre, the children of Peter Andre and Katie Price—who famously met on the show in 2004—have expressed interest in participating together as siblings.
Changes to the expected roster have already occurred ahead of the launch. Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson was reportedly forced to pull out of her six-figure deal with a heavy heart just weeks before the series premiere in order to care for her daughters, who battle Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1. Reports indicate that Mariella Frostrup and Claire Sweeney were subsequently brought into advanced talks to fill potential gaps in the lineup.
As fans await the official roster announcement from ITV, speculation continues to grow across entertainment media regarding who will ultimately head Down Under to face the jungle camp and its myriad challenges.
