Actor Rory Culkin recently shared insights into his new life as a father and his role in the Apple TV psychological thriller series "Nocturne" during an exclusive interview in New York City. The 37-year-old actor caught up with media representatives at the series premiere to discuss how welcoming his daughter, Havoc Moon, with his partner, cinematographer Kate Arizmendi, in May has shifted his perspective on life.

Reflecting on his new role, Culkin described fatherhood as a lovely experience, noting that the intense love he feels for his daughter helps overshadow the daily challenges of parenting. "Fatherhood has been lovely. Really such a pleasure," he said. "I mean, everyone was telling me how difficult it is — and it is — but that's outweighed so much by the love."

The actor added that everyday experiences carry more emotional weight now that he is a parent, noting that saying goodbye before a train ride or watching certain movies can leave him feeling choked up. When asked about advice from his famous older brothers, Macaulay and Kieran Culkin, who are also fathers, Rory shared that they kept their guidance simple: "You'll figure it out. Everyone does… So, you know, just don't worry."

Aside from his personal life, Culkin discussed his latest professional endeavor in "Nocturne," which also features prominent actors such as Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham. The series premiered its first episodes on Apple TV, with new installments scheduled to release every Friday through December 25.

During the production, Culkin developed a particularly close off-screen bond with co-star Stephen Graham. The two actors spent time together visiting museums and attending the theater, which Culkin believes heavily contributed to their dynamic performances on screen.

"Stephen and I became really close… We went to the theater. We would go to museums together," Culkin explained. He emphasized that building trust and friendship away from the set allowed them to push boundaries during filming, knowing they had established a solid foundation of mutual respect before shooting intense scenes.

With new episodes rolling out weekly on the streaming platform, "Nocturne" continues to draw attention for its psychological thriller elements and the collaborative efforts of its cast.
