PowerUp Money Secures $10 Million to Scale AI-Led Wealth Management

The Bengaluru-based wealthtech platform plans to enhance its artificial intelligence advisory tools and expand its managed wealth services.

PowerUp Money, a prominent wealthtech platform specializing in mutual fund advice and digital wealth management, has successfully raised $10 million in a fresh funding round. The investment was led by early-stage investment firm Flourish Ventures, with participation from existing backers including Peak XV Partners, Accel, Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures, and DeVC.

The Bengaluru-based company announced that a substantial portion of the newly acquired capital will be dedicated to developing its artificial intelligence-driven wealth management platform. Additionally, the funding will support the expansion of its managed advisory business as the firm scales its operations within India's rapidly growing financial sector.

PowerUp reports that more than 1.5 million users currently track mutual fund portfolios valued at over Rs 2.5 lakh crore on its platform. Furthermore, its paid subscription offering, Elite, has surpassed 100,000 paid members in less than a year, reflecting strong demand for research-backed financial guidance among retail investors.

As part of its technological expansion, the company has introduced Elite Prime, an AI-enabled digital wealth advisory service. This new feature is designed to deliver a comprehensive financial planning experience by evaluating investors' financial goals, risk tolerances, and existing holdings to recommend customized asset allocation, systematic investment plans, and portfolio rebalancing strategies.

Prateek Jindal, founder and chief executive officer of PowerUp Money, noted that artificial intelligence enables the platform to replicate a traditional wealth manager's experience digitally. This innovation brings personalized financial guidance within reach of everyday investors who might otherwise find traditional advisory services financially out of reach.

Alongside its digital offerings, PowerUp is scaling Infinite, its managed wealth advisory service that pairs comprehensive financial planning with dedicated human advisers. Despite being offered to a limited customer base during its initial rollout, Infinite has accumulated nearly Rs 500 crore in assets under management within nine months of its launch.

The company's expansion arrives amid sustained growth across India's mutual fund market. According to data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India, industry assets under management reached Rs 82.64 lakh crore by the end of September 2026, while monthly systematic investment plan contributions climbed to Rs 32,490 crore, underscoring a broader cultural shift toward long-term investing.

This market expansion has fueled significant investor interest across the broader wealthtech sector, leading to substantial recent funding rounds for competing platforms such as Wint Wealth and Centricity. However, as digital advisory firms rapidly expand their customer bases, they must navigate evolving regulatory frameworks, including the updated Master Circular for Investment Advisers issued by regulatory authorities to ensure transparency and compliance.
