Inter Milan successfully revitalized their UEFA Champions League campaign on Tuesday with a dominant 3-0 victory against Dutch side Feyenoord at De Kuip in Rotterdam. After a challenging start to the group stage that saw the Italian club lose their first two matches, the team displayed renewed determination and tactical precision to secure a much-needed win.

The match began with Inter applying immediate pressure on the hosts. The breakthrough arrived in the eighth minute when German defender Yann Bisseck capitalized on space at the edge of the penalty area, firing a low, curling left-footed shot past Feyenoord goalkeeper Tjark Ernst. This early goal set the tone for the remainder of the first half, as the visitors maintained control over both possession and territory.

Inter extended their lead shortly before halftime. Following a cross from England international Djed Spence, the ball deflected off a defender, allowing Pio Esposito to head home from close range. The goal provided a significant boost for Esposito, who had been experiencing a two-month goal drought, and effectively put the Italian side in a commanding position heading into the break.

The second half continued to favor the visitors, as Feyenoord struggled to organize a coherent defensive response. In the 54th minute, Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski capitalized on the space afforded to him by the Feyenoord defense, striking an unstoppable shot off the post to complete the 3-0 scoreline. Although the match saw a brief interruption due to fireworks landing on the pitch, Inter remained composed and cruised to the final whistle.

Inter manager Cristian Chivu praised the character of his squad following the result. "We knew that quality was already there. It was about determination, pride, and character—values that this group has always demonstrated," Chivu told reporters after the match. The victory moves Inter into a more competitive position within the Champions League table, while Feyenoord remains in a difficult spot regarding their prospects for the knockout phase.

Feyenoord manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst acknowledged the disappointment of the result, noting that his team must improve to remain in contention. "The reality is that we currently have three points from four matches, which, frankly, isn't good enough," van Bronckhorst stated. "Moving forward, we'll need to win matches if we want to progress in the Champions League." Feyenoord is scheduled to host Porto in their next European fixture, while Inter Milan prepares to welcome Stuttgart.
