Goliath Resources Reports Continued High-Grade Gold Success at Surebet Discovery

The company's 2026 drill program confirms mineral continuity and expands the footprint of its British Columbia gold project.

Goliath Resources Limited has announced significant assay results from its 2026 drill program at the Surebet Discovery, located within its Golddigger Property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. The latest findings from drill hole GD-26-498 indicate an intersection of 14.61 grams per tonne gold equivalent over 6.00 meters, reinforcing the predictability and continuity of the site's high-grade mineralized core.

The 2026 campaign was extensive, involving 97 drill holes and 48,443 meters of drilling conducted around the clock over a 94-day period. According to the company, 100% of the holes completed during this season intersected quartz-sulphide mineralization. Furthermore, 85% of the 483 total holes drilled to date at the site contain visible gold, a metric the company cites as clear evidence of the system's expansive potential.

Roger Rosmus, founder and CEO of Goliath, emphasized that the consistent results demonstrate the project's long-term viability. "At this stage of the Surebet Discovery with over 200,000 meters and 483 holes with a 100% hit rate, we are not a one-hit drill story," Rosmus stated. He noted that the company is currently processing the remaining assay results from 43 pending holes, which will inform the planning for the 2027 season.

The Surebet Discovery has evolved rapidly since its inception, growing from a grassroots exploration project into a complex system of 46 stacked gold-rich veins. The total footprint of the mineralized area has expanded to 2.01 square kilometers, representing a 12% increase from the previous season. This growth includes the identification of the new Big Bulk Zone, which shows potential for low-cost bulk mining methods.

Geological studies, including work supported by the Colorado School of Mines, suggest a common magmatic source for the gold system, which is hosted across three distinct rock types: sedimentary units, volcanic units, and Eocene-aged dykes. This discovery of gold within the Eocene-aged dykes is considered a potential geological breakthrough for the Golden Triangle region, as previous exploration efforts had largely overlooked this specific rock type.

The Golddigger Property benefits from its proximity to existing infrastructure, including barge access to Prince Rupert and road connectivity to nearby communities. With metallurgical testing showing high recovery rates for gold and silver without the need for cyanide leaching, Goliath Resources is now evaluating various strategic options to maximize shareholder value, including the potential spin-out of certain assets into a private entity named David Resources Limited.
