Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach Shine on Disney Night of Dancing with the Stars
Ezra Frech and partner Daniella Karagach scored 37 out of 40 on Disney Night, advancing safely in the competition.
Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars returned for an energetic Disney Night, airing a day early to accommodate live coverage of the 2026 United States midterm elections. The remaining eight celebrity and professional couples brought the magic of Disney on Broadway to the ballroom, performing both individual routines and team dances.
Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli were joined on the panel by special guest judge and Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo. The evening featured appearances by several Broadway stars, and contestants aimed to impress the judges and viewers alike to avoid elimination.
Ezra Frech and his professional partner, Daniella Karagach, delivered a standout samba routine to the song "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. Their performance earned high praise from the judges, highlighting Frech's impressive execution and technique on the dance floor.
Cynthia Erivo described the performance as feeling like magic, comparing the experience to riding a wave with the couple. Bruno Tonioli complimented Frech's stage presence by stating, "You look like a prince and dance like a devil! Where are those hips coming from?"
Carrie Ann Inaba commended Frech for taking previous feedback to heart, while Derek Hough noted that Frech successfully proved he is capable of performing nearly anything. Hough praised Karagach for choreographing a routine packed with content and executed to perfection.
The judges awarded Frech and Karagach a total score of 37 out of 40, with Derek Hough awarding a 10 and the remaining three judges each giving a 9. In addition to their individual dance, Frech joined Team Wildcats alongside other contestants to perform a freestyle to "We're All in This Together" from High School Musical, earning a perfect score of 40 out of 40 for the group routine.
Following the combined scores from the individual and team dances, alongside viewer votes, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach safely advanced to the next week of the competition. Meanwhile, Julia Stiles and her partner Ezra Sosa were eliminated from the show following a bottom-two appearance with Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas.
